THE RULES

1. BE COOL, MAN; We’re all adults here, if there are people we disagree with, we all know how to keep distance and handle ourselves appropriately and respectfully. Bullying will not be tolerated, and should anything of that nature come up, we advise record be taken of it and brought directly and discreetly to the mods in private. Harassment will not be tolerated - if someone has requested to cease contact with you, we expect that to be respected. In general, use your personal discretion and don’t be an asshole. 2. Be active; While the activity check is fairly low, we do hope everyone will go beyond the minimum requirements and be regularly active and involved in the game. There is a player cap on this game, so please be considerate of others that may be waiting for a chance to get into the game, should we reach that limit. 3. Communicate; The key to a comfortable and welcoming game community is solid communication and open understanding. This is a horror game and things can get triggery at times, so please be sure to communicate with your thread partners and make sure you’re on the same page. If OOC issues arise, we would like players to try to handle it between themselves first, before coming to us. That said, if you do not feel comfortable speaking with another player, or if communication between the two of you hasn’t solved your issues, please seek out a mod, especially if a rule of the game has been broken. 4. Don’t infomod, don’t godmod (without consent); We all know this rule by now. Don’t have your characters miraculously clue in to information that is OOC knowledge only, keep in mind that they cannot actually read what’s said in small text/prose. If you’re worried you might be stepping over a line with your character figuring out something too easily, the golden rule is: just ask. Likewise for godmodding. 5. IC =/= OOC; Many of us play jackass characters, but that does not mean we aren’t sweet little rays of sunshine outside of our threads. We don’t want to take any IC frustrations to mean that a player OOCly does not like us or has issue with us. Likewise, we don’t want to take any OOC conversations or actions and translate them into IC information. If you are having an argument with a player, that should not show up in IC threads. If another player has been OOCly distant, that should not be implied to be occurring in game as well. 6. 18+ Player Age Restriction; this game is going to involve mature themes, be it horror, or sex, or traumatic and triggering content. All players must be at least 18 years old to apply. 7. Content Warnings; If there’s something heavy that's potentially triggering, please warn for it. Be considerate, my dudes. While you're welcome to have your characters banging, we do ask that anything sexual in nature be taken to an IC inbox rather than played on the comms. 8. Game caps; 30 players, each player gets 2 character slots. If we hit our player cap but not our character cap (60), in-game players that do not want to app a second character can volunteer their second character slot to a new player, but both old and new player can only have one character in game each, until we go under the player cap again. 9. All mods are named Jay; If you want to mod, we will rename you Jay and issue you a Jay#, the end. » NAVIGATION «
